About Us

Blue Latania is a safe and family-friendly housing option for undergraduate and graduate women enrolled at the University of Miami, as well as other local college campuses, and Miami-based young professional women who wish to excel in their personal, academic and professional endeavors.

Blue Latania is your home away from home; a place with an environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. Spaces are limited, therefore, an application and interview are required. The facilities include two fully-renovated 1950s duplex buildings, walking-distance to the University of Miami campus. The units are furnished and include bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms and outdoor private patios. There is a laundry room on site as well as plenty of yard space and a pool.

Conscious that leisure time and personal life is an important element in the well-being of students and young professionals, get-togethers are organized from time to time on-site to give everyone a break and foster a sense of community. All residents are welcome to join or help organize shared meals, movie forums, community service, excursions or just an “outing” around Miami.
